GDPR

GDPR is the 2018 pre-Brexit European Law meaning General Data Protection Legislation aimed at protecting the personal and sensitive data (information) of all data subjects (clients) that come into contact within any organisation/service (Mastering Connections Counselling and Consultation Service). GDPR governs the way in which Majella can use, process, and store personal data about clients. It comprises of several principles that summarises its conditions around processing personal data that Majella must comply with. Any breaches that occur must be reported to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) by Majella.

GDPR is openly discussed with all clients during their initial appointment and again as required.
